Alapar Jazz (ARG)

Alapar Jazz, originally from Córdoba, Argentina, has captivated audiences with its vibrant interpretations of swing and traditional jazz from the 1920s and 1930s since its formation in 2016. With performances across South America, Mexico, USA, and Europe (Switzerland, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Netherlands, and Austria), the band blends the roots of jazz with a vibrant latin style and rock N’ roll influences , delivering a dynamic energy that resonates with modern audiences.

Alapar stands out for its diverse repertoire, which includes compositions by iconic artists like Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, and Billie Holiday, as well as original compositions. At the heart of their sound is vocalist Mariana, whose passionate and visceral performance adds a unique layer of power to the melodies lines combined with a solid and rhythmic foundation provided by Guillermo on double bass and Rodrigo on the archtop guitar. During European tours, the virtuoso pianist Bruno Cravero joins the group, adding warmth to the foundation and further enriching the ensemble's sound with his mastery and sensitivity. 

The band has had the honor of participating in prestigious festivals and events, such as The "Jazz Night Zug", the New Orleans Jazz Museum 2024 (NOLA, USA); The “Jazz in Baar” (Baar, Switzerland); The “Dixieland Fest” 2025, (Pilsen, Czech Republic); The “Rive Jazzy Day” (Nyon, Switzerland), “The Blues ‘N Jazz Bamberg Festival” (Bamberg, Germany) among others.
