Maranatha Gospel Choir
Maranatha Gospel Choir is a Prague based gospel choir, founded in 2006 and active ever since. With about 60 members the choir is among the largest in the Czech Republic. When performing in clubs the choir is formed out of 12 singers. Songs by famous gospel artists such as Kirk Franklin, Brian Fentress and Claes Wegener are a part of the choir´s permanent repertoire. Jan Bálek (keys), Ondřej Pomajsl (drums), Radim Genčev (bass guitar), Karel Bárta (guitar) are professional musicians accompanying the choir. Gospel versions of pop songs by Michael Jackson, Coldplay and George Michel are to be heard, as well.
