Tomáš Liška & Invisible World - the release concert of the new album “Holy Grail”

Renowned double bassist and composer Tomáš Liška is releasing his seventh solo album, titled Holy Grail. With his band Invisible World, he continues the artistic direction he has been shaping for years – blending his distinctive musical voice with international influences and maintaining an openness to cultural overlaps. The album Holy Grail features a number of international guests who expand its sonic character and bring inspirations ranging from the Iberian Peninsula to the Middle East. A new element in Liška’s musical palette is the use of vocals – the lyrics to the title track Holy Grail were created in collaboration between Tomáš Liška and singer Kateřina García, who also performs them. Tomáš Liška is active on both the Czech and international music scenes, primarily in the jazz & world genre. For fifteen years, he has been a member of Robert Křesťan & Druhá Tráva, and he collaborates with a number of leading Czech artists. He has released seven original albums, five of which were nominated for the Anděl Award; his album Hope (2020) won the award in the Jazz & Blues category.
His fully original band Invisible World reached its current and final form nine years ago. The ensemble receives acclaim worldwide. In addition to the virtuosity of its individual members, the band is praised for its unique expression and sensitive fusion of original music, jazz, and world music.
