This year, the United Islands Festival will take place at Jazz Dock.

Čóro Muzikoj (CZ) A Prague band with a Balkan heart and the energy of a runaway train. Wild rhythms, animal joy and concerts that never end quietly. The driving force of Čóro Muzikoj is adventure and the joy of playing together. Busking across European capitals, at festivals and clubs, discovering new places and friends, the beauty of cities. Claudy Kováčová and Jamas Quartet (SK) Claudy Kováčová is a young Slovak singer working between jazz, soul and R&B, drawing on the aesthetics of American music from the 1980s–90s (Michael Jackson, Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder). She has performed at events such as the Jazz Divas festival, collaborated with Matúš Jakabčica’s big band, recorded with pianist Ľuboš Šrámek and performs with NBS Trio. She won an award for outstanding interpretive performance in the Young Faces of Slovak Jazz competition. In the project Claudy Kováčová & Jamas Quartet her expressive singing meets a young generation of jazz musicians, delivering arrangements inspired by jazz, soul and R&B with the groove of classic American soul. Jamas Quartet (founded 2024) is a student ensemble from various music schools in Slovakia and abroad, blending jazz sensitivity with contemporary R&B energy and creating space for authentic vocals and improvisation.

Renata Bilać (CZ/HR) Renata Bilać sings songs that have stood the test of time. Her voice carries traces of different cultures preserved sometimes only through folk songs. She invites the audience on a centuries-long journey in original languages. Whether she sings in Croatian, Spanish, Ladin or Yiddish, it’s always the same: a living experience of past generations that she shares with today’s listeners in a sensitive and personal way. She is accompanied by excellent jazz guitarist Adam Doucha, whose original guitar accompaniments — influenced among other things by his study of classical guitar — breathe new spark into tradition.

The Hybrid Drummer (HU) The Hybrid Drummer delivers a thrilling live techno show that blends the energy and expressivity of live playing with real-time electronic sound design. Thanks to a compact hybrid setup, all the music is created on stage — producing a powerful audiovisual experience that pulls the audience right into the action. A show made for the dancefloor and everything beyond it.
