Viktorie Martincová – album release show Waves

Singer Viktorie Martincová brings her debut album Waves to the stage of Jazz Dock – a personal statement about movement, transformation and the waves that shape us. Music that flows like water — sometimes calm, sometimes untamed. The album carries the soul of a young artist who is not afraid to show vulnerability and turn it into musical strength. It was created with care and an open heart.

Viktorie is an 18-year-old pop singer and songwriter currently in her fourth year at the Jan Deyl Conservatory in Prague. She writes songs in both Czech and English, plays acoustic guitar and piano, and performs either with her band under the name Viktorie or as a solo artist under her full name. In 2022, she reached the international finals of the Bonart Junior Fest competition. Together with her band, she opened for Ben Cristovao, made it to the finals of the national student band competition UNIBAND, and performed at events such as Prima Love Day and other festivals. She has also appeared as a guest at the Christmas concerts of Radim Schwab, and performed alongside Bára Basiková, Jaroslav Svěcený, the Herold Quartet and Zdeňka Žádníková.

Two tracks from Waves were co-produced by Jan Steinsdörfer (Chinaski), who brought depth and spark to the sound. Waves is a fusion of gentle pop with a touch of alternative. It promises an evening of emotion, closeness and music that breathes like the sea — wave after wave.
