Natalia Kordiak

Singer, improviser, composer and educator. A voice artist who explores and uses her own language of improvisation. Leader of the Natalia Kordiak Quintet, with whom she has recorded two albums ("Bajka" from 2019, published by Hevhetia - nominated for the Fryderyk award; "Ytinamuh" from 2023, published by the Słuchaj! Foundation). Together with Anna Gadt, Marta Grzywacz and Gosia Zagajewska, she co-creates Voice Act, which has the album "Voice Act" (2024, published by the Słuchaj! Foundation) to its credit. Member of Maciej Kądziela's band LUNAMË and Anna Jopek's sextet.  For several years, Kordiak has been traveling around Asia and Europe, giving concerts and conducting workshops as part of artistic residencies. She has performed on many music stages and festivals in Poland (including NOSPR, Jazz Jantar, Jazz Juniors and Voicingers) and abroad (England, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, India, Latvia, Vietnam, etc.). In 2023-2024, she was an artist-in-residence at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in Chennai, India.

Karnas Formula

Grzegorz Karnas started his bands in 1998. Karnas’ projects - trios without a harmonic instrument and quartets in different line-up configurations are far removed from the classical paradigm. The group likes drawing on the trance-like nature of ostinatos and the abstraction of modal playing, developed on the basis of simple melodic themes. A brief, general outline of KARNAS FORMULA in concert would be: acoustic, energy-filled and groovily hypnotic music-making with a hefty dose of improvisation.
